How this works
The Tempest weather stations hub sends data to the WeatherFlow cloud. The Tempest API makes data available as REST endpoints, so developers can pull the data in to their application.
The Scootercam-Tempest Plugin
Surprisingly there isn’t a WordPress plugin to easily pull current, forecast, and historical data from the Tempest API. Even more surprisingly, I wrote a custom plugin (with help from Claude AI) to fill the gap. Once installed and configured, it offers data, data cards, widgets, and charts from the endpoint.
